Generally, a safe workplace boosts employee’s morale, which in turn, increases productivity, efficiency and profit margins. If employees feel like they have a good and safe work environment, this will result to fewer staff absences, less staff turnover and an improved quality of work. However, in order for workplace hazards to be controlled, workers and management must recognize and understand the nature of these hazards and this can be made possible through Occupational Safety and Health Training.
